Hinterland Systems

We are supporting regions in achieving their policy objectives with regards to biodiversity conservation as well as food and biomass streams.

As data governance experts, we collaborate with communities of practice and scientific knowledge workers on open data models for a regenerative, regional and resource-efficient land use.
We facilitate data-driven, market- and policy-relevant use cases.

Regenerative regional systems

We have incorporated the first Hinterland Systems association in Austria as data-driven boundary organisation for smallholders’ and other land users’ policy-induced data sharing purposes (food, biomass, carbon, biodiversity & nature’s restoration). We are preparing Hinterland Systems associations in Germany, Croatia, Spain and Portugal.

We empower like-minded practitioners and their cluster managers to bridge data gaps based on a shared mission.
